                   Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC)
                 Historical SWPC Products and Data Displays

This directory contains historical SWPC Products, Solar Indices, and 
3-day GOES and Estimated Kp plots from 1996, as originally published.
    Via Anonymous FTP: ftp.swpc.noaa.gov cd to /pub/warehouse/

The products and displays are organized in yearly sub-directories. In the
current year's directory, new products are added daily. For previous years,
the product and plot subdirectories are compressed and zipped for download.

Each compressed and zipped (*.tar.gz) file contains a directory of product 
files for that year. Each directory is archived using the TAR utility, and 
the .tar file compressed using a GNU ZIP utility. These files can be opened 
using standard Unix tar and gzip utilities, or WinZip on windows platforms.

	    Geophysical Data

    Solar Indices as ascii text files -- added at the end of the year
        Daily Solar Data
	Daily Geomagnetic Data
	Daily Particle Data

    3-day Plots
       GOES Electron Flux
       GOES Hp
       GOES Proton
       GOES X-rays,
       Estimated Planetary Kp
       Satellite Environment Plot

Some space weather data on the SWPC FTP and web sites are not archived here, 
but may be archived by other organizations. See the Archive column in the 
tables at http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/Data for links to these sites.
