A G2 - Moderate geomagnetic storm alert was issued at 01/2358 UTC (01 Sep 2016 at 7:58 pm ET). The G2 Geomagnetic Storm Warning is valid until 02/0300 UTC (01 Sep at 11:00 pm ET) while the G1 - Minor Geomagnetic Storm Warning has been extended until 02/0600 UTC (02 Sep at 2:00 am ET) due to effects from a coronal hole high speed stream. Stay tuned here for updates.
