G2 (Moderate) Storm Levels Observed
published: Monday, March 07, 2016 13:41 UTC

G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm levels were observed beginning at 2048 UTC on 06 March. A negative polarity, coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS) became geoeffective early on 06 March causing an increase in solar wind speeds and an enhanced interplanetary magnetic field.
