G1 (Minor) Geomagnetic Storms Observed - 18 Oct 2015

A magnetic disturbance caused G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storms between 0900-1200 UTC (0500-0800 EDT) on 18 October 2015.  This disturbance is believed to have been caused by a change in the solar sector followed by a prolonged period of southward Bz.  G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storms are expected to persist until 18/1300 UTC (0900 UTC).
