G1 (Minor) Geomagnetic Storms Likely on 01 December 2015

G1 (Minor) Geomagnetic Storms Likely on 01 December 2015
published: Tuesday, December 01, 2015 13:19 UTC

G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm conditions are likely early on 01 December due to the anticipated influence of a positive polarity coronal hole high speed stream.

This recurrent coronal feature caused periods of G1 storm levels last rotation and solar wind speeds in excess of 700 km/s were observed, however, the coronal hole has been in steady decay throughout its current transit of the visible disk.
