G1 Auroral Oval Forecast
G1 (Minor) Warning for 14 April Extended until 14/2100 UTC
published: Friday, April 15, 2016 06:07 UTC

The G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm warning has been extended and is now valid until 14/2100 UTC (14/1700 ET). Conditions remain favorable due to effects from a transient enhancement (due to an expected glancing blow impact of a coronal mass ejection from 10 April) and waning coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS) effects.
