A G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm warning was issued and is valid from 16/2030-2359 UTC (16/1530-1859 ET). G2 conditions were first met at 16/2059 UTC (16/1559 ET). Additionally, the G1 (Minor) warning has been extended until 17/0700 UTC (17/0200 ET). The geomagnetic storming is in response to effects from a coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS).
