R2 (Moderate) Radio Blackouts Observed - 02 April 2017
published: Tuesday, April 04, 2017 21:20 UTC

Region 2644 produced a pair of R2 (Moderate) radio blackouts at 02/0802 UTC and 02/2033 UTC, respectively, along with multiple R1 (Minor) radio blackouts over the past 24 hours.  Multiple coronal mass ejections (CMEs) associated with the solar flare activity originating from Region 2644 have been observed but are not expected to be earth-directed.
