G1 (Minor) Warning Extended through 29/0300 UTC

G1 (Minor) Warning Extended through 29/0300 UTC
published: Friday, September 29, 2017 11:14 UTC

The G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm warning has been extended until 29 September at 0300 UTC (28/2300 ET). The warning was extended as the solar wind environment remains favorable for expected responses to minor storm levels, due to the influences of a coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS). A G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm watch remains in effect for the remainder of the 28 September UTC-day and a G1 (Minor) storm watch is in effect for 29 September, as CH HSS influences are anticipated to continue. Review our webpage for additional details and information.
