The 2023 Satellite Environment Testbed Exercise is underway
published: Friday, October 27, 2023 22:36 UTC

SWPC is pleased to be hosting its second Testbed Exercise this week from 25-27 October 2023, in Boulder, Colorado,

and we're off to a great start!  An excellent collection of operations, tracking and maneuver services, commercial services, the DoD, government agencies, and research personnel will be in attendance. The Exercise is focusing on space weather impacts on satellite operations at low Earth orbit (LEO). Two main phenomena will be discussed in detail: 1) Neutral density for satellite drag and 2) Radiation environment with enhanced energetic particles. Detailed Agenda here.
