A G1 (minor) Geomagnetic Storm Watch - 09 And 10 April
published: Friday, April 10, 2015 12:47 UTC

A G1 (minor) geomagnetic storm Watch has been issued for 09 and 10 April, as the result of a CME observed leaving the Sun on 06 April. The actual arrival time of the transient is expected late on the 9th, with some margin of error allowed for differences in the observed background solar wind velocities at ACE (located at L1) versus forecast model projections. Stay tuned here for more details as activity unfolds later today.
