G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm warning/conditions met

A G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm Warning was issued, valid from 22/0255-0800 UTC (21/2255 - 22/0400 EDT). Shortly thereafter, G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm conditions were observed at 22/0259 UTC (21/2259 EDT), due to a sudden enhancement in the solar wind environment. Conditions are not expected to increase any higher, with solar winds continuing to decrease as the day progresses.
