published: Tuesday, November 07, 2023 14:45 UTC

The solar wind environment first became enhanced at ~04/1100 UTC with the apparent arrival of a CME, believed to be from 31 Oct. An additional, stronger enhancement was observed beginning at ~05/0810 UTC, and may have been the result of influence from a CME that left the Sun on 02 Nov. A G3 (Strong) geomagnetic storm warning is now in effect from 05 Nov at 1635 UTC to 05 Nov at 2359 UTC. Alerts, Watches and Warnings | NOAA / NWS Space Weather Prediction Center
